Why is Pimp Empires a free Online Game

Why provide a free game?

The simple answer to that is to encourage people to play. If we charged a minimum amount we would never get anybody trying the game.

With that said why don't we do a trial period and then charge, it is not the nature of this game for a player to play every round, they take time out sometimes they play for fun other times they play in a more serious way. For these reasons we run our games so the players have an opportunity to donate for extra turns and advantages within the game, they are not obligated to do so, it is completely voluntary.

You can still win virtual credits even if you do not donate, that is one of the things that stands out above many games of this nature online.

We also ensure limiting the amount of donation a player can do during a round, this is significant otherwise players would be able to buy the win which is not what our philosophy ever was.

Why not completely free? The server needs to be paid, the coding needs to be done as well as the design and the upkeep of the script and server. This all cost money.
