We need a way pimps can see the exact nature of another pimp, not only will this give them an idea of how to deal with them but it will also act as a prelude to picking gangs.

Pimp Player ratings is needed to be based on a number of things so players can come to a conclusion about a player, do they donate, are they attackers or how active. This will build up over a number of games.

Will they be public?

Yes, but you will have the ability to decide to not have any particular rating public, it will be then up to the choosing player to make up their minds as to why you haven’t made it public.

How will the rating work?

We would like to base the ratings on a 1 to 10 scoring, for example if you are in the top 10% of players for successful attacks you will get a rating of 10 for that category.

How will this work into gang selection?

We are currently still working on how we are going to let the players decide their gangs, the basic idea is to have the top players allocated the top tier for example they are ‘Pimp Lords’ and they will be limited to 12 players. After reset the six gang leaders (we haven’t decided how to select the gang leaders) will have the ability to slip they gang players two from the ‘pimp Lords’ and then they will choose more players from each tier after. As we are still working on this idea we will post more information in the next two weeks.

When will this be implemented?

We will start collecting statistics about the players from reset 12^th May 2013. Then implementing the gang selection the reset after 2^nd June 2013.

We are busy working on some exciting changes to the gangs, in the meantime we have the first change to stop some of the rogue players ruining it. Maybe if you play by your gang orders or in the interest of your gang you might fare little better. Why attack everybody, give up playing then complain your gang is useless?

Game Gang Survey

The game will closed for two days from Christmas Eve 24 December to Boxing Day 26 December, this gives everybody the opportunity to concentrate on family and what is important and Christmas time. We are sure nobody will be visiting the hoes anyway so the pimping trade will be dead.

We haven’t had time to sort out a Christmas round because we are working on something special in the New Year regarding the gangs. We will announce further details on 2 January.

From reset the game will only allow you to buy extra turns for players that have been active within the past 48 hours. Yes, this will probably decrease the donations. However we believe in fairness over a profit.

The same time we have increased the prize fund of bling.

We are aware the game has two sides, building and attacking. There is no escaping the fact that virtually every game from Farmville, Mafia Wars and any pimp game there has to be an element of building especially from the beginning. The attacking will always become secondary strategy because if you have nothing built there is nothing to attack.

Leaving it until the last few hours or minutes and in some cases seconds to do some devastating attacks is probably a great buzz and one of the things that make the game great. But what about the person that has worked hard all round sitting in 3rd hoping to get their best position ever! He gets hit a few times he is now sitting in 30th.

Absolutely it is part of the ‘current’ game.

But, should such a devastating blow be able to be done at the end of the game?

Or

Should it be a more sustained attack during the round but is able to keep somebody down?

The world of video gaming has a problem with sexual harassment. The number of women gamers is growing fast – in the US they now make up 42% of the total – but it remains a macho environment, where women are often exposed to abusive language.

The male voices are aggressive, even angry. Their put-downs are laced with strong swearing and sexual insults.

“Stupid bitch,” says one. “Fat whore,” adds another.

“I hope your boyfriend beats you. Nah, you can’t get a boyfriend.”

The tirade of abuse ends and Jenny Haniver laughs.

“Get back in the kitchen?” she says. “I’m not in the kitchen because I’m here kicking your ass on video games, that’s what I’m good at.”

We’re sitting in her living room in Wisconsin, listening to audio recordings she makes when she goes online to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It’s a combat-based video game, where players can talk to each other via headsets.

The recordings end up on Haniver’s website, Not in the Kitchen Any More. She plays in the evening after college and says most nights she’ll have to deal with harassment of some kind. Some of it just puerile, but some is graphic and threatening.

“This enemy player backed out of the middle of the match and sent me a voice message,” Haniver says, remembering her worst experience. He said he hoped she would be raped and she and her family killed.

Amazingly, this is not uncommon.

Another website, Fat, Ugly or Slutty, posts examples of harassment from all games – mostly pictures of in-game messages that women receive from other gamers.

“[There's] a plethora of stupidity when it comes to what women receive in online games,” says Grace, one of the site’s co-founders.

“There are some people who can’t even look at Fat, Ugly or Slutty because it reminds them too much of their lives, it upsets them too much,” she says. “A lot of people have just walked away from online play entirely.”

The biggest issue with a gang running away with the game is other gangs allowing them to do so.  It is similar to the gang in last place giving up. If you are a gang leader and you tell your gang not to bover because there is no hope in the first 24 hours well you deserve to be in the bottom gang.
